Pupil Premium
What is Pupil Premium funding?
1. The Government are committed to narrowing the achievement gap between the families that are in lower income households and those that have higher incomes.
2. It has therefore given a set amount of money per child for every child that has been eligible for free school meals, is the child of service personnel or has been in the care of the local authority in the last 6 years.
3. It is then up to the school to decide how to spend the money so that all children can reach their potential.
Pupil Premium Strategy Statement
This statement details our school’s use of pupil premium funding to help improve the attainment of our disadvantaged pupils.
It outlines our pupil premium strategy, how we intend to spend the funding in this academic year and the effect that last year’s spending of pupil premium had within our school.

Free School Meals – How can parents apply?
It is vital that all parents that qualify for free school meals still register their child with the local authority, even if they already receive Infant Free School Meals. The additional funding means that these children can benefit from additional school support. Please follow the link on Stockport MBC’s to see if you qualify.
